Welcome to ImBizJourney.com – My name is Sandy Naidu and I am a full time internet marketer – And this blog is a journal of my business journey – I share my tips, business success secrets, whats working for me and what is not.

I started my career as a financial analyst and in 1997 I combined my passion for finance and programming and moved into software programming for financial services company – I worked for some big banks and absolutely loved what I was doing.

Things changed in 2001 – My daughter was born in June 2001 and I did not want to go back and work for someone else. I wanted flexibility, I wanted to be home and work my own hours. In 2002 I started my life as a freelance software programmer. The first few months was hard and after some consistent marketing, things started kicking off and soon I had a steady stream of income coming in. And by 2006 I had my hands full – too many projects and too little time. And suddenly I felt like my original plan was not working – I was working long hours, the flexibility was lost. And I was not happy. The work was good but you see my plan of being my own boss was not happening – I ended up with not one boss but many bosses.

In 2006 my son was born. My life had to change but I was not ready to take the leap. My son had a terrible accident in early 2007 and this changed everything for me – In many ways – And suddenly I found all the courage I needed – I quit my freelancing career and took a long break.

This time around my goals were clear – I was after flexibility – If you are after flexibility but still regular income then the key is to have passive income. During the long break that I had after my son’s accident, I found this industry called ‘Internet Marketing’. And thankfully the more I researched and studied it, the more I loved it.

And so in January 2008 my new career began – I was writing eBooks, maintaining blogs, affiliate marketing and putting niche directory sites together – I was loving every minute of it (most of the time at least). Though this new career offers a lot of flexibility, it also involves a lot of work. The initial work of setting everything up is enormous – So it is definitely not easy money !!!

This blog is my journal of how I am making money, what I am doing, what’s working and what is not. Affiliate marketing is where my focus is and you will see me talking a lot about this area on this blog.

I am not a super affiliate yet but I have no doubt in my mind that one day I will be.
