How To Add Favicon To Your LifeStyle Themed Site ?
A favicon (short for favorites icon), also known as a website icon, shortcut icon, url icon, or bookmark icon is a 16×16, 32×32 or 64×64 pixel square icon associated with a particular website or webpage.

Adding this favicon is really simple – a simple job but a very good effect. Last night I added the favicon to my new lifestyle themed affiliate blog. Here is how to add a favicon to your lifestyle theme:
- Grab the image you want to add as a favicon
- Head over to this http://www.chami.com/html-kit/services/favicon/. This website converts your image to a favicon image.
- Now upload this image to your images folder of the Lifestyle theme – should be something like this – /wp-content/themes/lifestyle_40/images.
That’t it – Now refresh your website on the browser and you should see the favicon.
If you don’t use lifestyle theme, the first two steps still remain the same. The third step and fourth steps are as follows:
- Add the code anywhere between the and tags in your header.php file.
- Upload your favicon to the root directory of your blog.
That’s it – You are done.
