How To Make Money Blogging With The Right Keywords

Making money from Blogging starts with traffic. Traffic comes when you write the right posts – right posts that are well optimized – all this starts from picking the right keywords.

Today, I am going to share with you all my tips on how to make money blogging with the right keywords:

Don’t Blog Blind
Don’t blog without a purpose. Before you start writing a post, make sure you know what you are going to be writing about. Every now and then you can write some posts which are the about your daily rants – but otherwise you always know what you are targeting and what your aim is with the post. And on a side note, even the daily rants can be easily converted into posts with a purpose (more on this later).
Pick Your Keywords
Before I start writing, I open the free Wordtracker in one of my tabs in my browser. Once I know my topic, I go to my Wordtracker and see what keywords are relevant for that topic. If I am in a luck, I find a good long tail keyword. If no long tail keywords then I pick two to three good keywords for the topic I am writing about.
And going back to my side note for my daily rants – If I am writing about say, negative thoughts, then I plug that phrase in Wordtracker and quickly see if there are any keywords I can target with that post – If find some relevant keywords then I optimize that post for those keywords.
Write For Eyeballs
Optimizing for the relevant keywords does not mean that you use those keywords way too many times – it does not mean you write a post which does not make good reading for humans but excellent reading for Google Bots. You don’t want posts like that – Because always remember that ultimately it is the humans that build your readership – Not search engines. Be clever , put some thought and use the keywords in the right places and in the right amount. Make sure your post is a good read – You don’t want your visitor to click through to your site and then hit the ‘back’ button straight after. You want them to stay, read and enjoy your post.
Internal Links
When writing a post, if you can link to other posts then be sure to provide the internal links – Just make sure you using the right keywords when doing this.
Post Series
Sometimes some keywords might need a series of posts all inter connected. I don’t do this for all keywords I target. But if a keyword has a reasonable number of searches and if there is also a reasonable amount of competition then I write a series of posts – By writing a series of posts, you will get better ranking.

Once you get the traffic, and once your readers like what they read on your posts, then they will buy from you. So, making money is phase two. Phase one is writing the right stuff. Once you do this, traffic will come and the money will follow.
