My New Office View

It is almost 10 in the morning and I am about to begin my second phase of the day. My first phase starts early in the morning – when kids are asleep – that is my favorite time of the day – no interruptions of any sort. My second phase starts at around 10 after dropping kids at school and running a few errands. My coffee is tasting real good this morning (I am a coffee addict).

Last week I did a few changes to my office – I moved my office into a slightly more secluded area of the house. I love the new space – it is almost like going to office outside of your home. I like that because when I am working, I am shut off from the ‘home interruptions’ and then when I am out of the office, I am out of the office (both physically and mentally) – I like the segregation this new office provides me.

And the best part is the new view I have from my office – it overlooks the pool. Loving it !!!!

My son is going in for surgery this week (getting his tonsils and adenoids removed). I will be spending a lot of time with him over the next two to three weeks. Taking some time off work but will be checking in now and then. In some ways I am looking forward to this time away from my office because it is going to give me some much needed thinking time.

I have been changing a lot of things in my business lately – I want to get more focused rather than have my hands in all pots. The two weeks of thinking time will help me to further establish a few ideas that have been buzzing in my mind lately.

2010 is not far away and towards the end of this month I will be sitting down and putting together my business goals for the new year. My goals for the new year are going to be simple – small and a focused list. I will share more with you on this one once I have it all written down.

Today I am going to be working on a new affiliate site and will be building and promoting it based on what I learned from Super Affiliate Handbook. I will continue working on this site until I reach my monetary goals for the site – no new affiliate site till this one reaches the goal.
