The keyword suggestion tool I use on a daily basis is Wordtracker – I have it open in one of the tabs on my browser almost for the entire time I am at work. I don’t know where I would be without my Wordtracker.

I have already had two cups of coffee this morning – It is 10:30 on Monday morning here in Sydney. I have a couple of more working hours and am looking forward to finishing up the tasks for the day.
I really want to have another of cup of coffee – My mind is asking for some – I have a limit of 3 cups for a day and I like to have my third one after my afternoon nap –
What to do ? Too much of a dilemma.
You know what I am just going to go to the kitchen and get myself a cup of coffee – Not my fault – It is my taste buds that is forcing me to….:-)

It is Friday night. I am watching the movie ‘The Holiday’, enjoying my cup of hot coffee and also typing this post – can it get any better ?
Past two days have been a bit hard for me though – Things in business did not go as planned – There are these couple of keywords I am trying to rank on the first page of Google for – I am working hard at it – and slowly approaching the first page.

On Thursday, I woke up feeling a bit down – this feeling only multiplied when I checked my rankings and found that I am still on the same spot I was four days ago. |
To tell you the truth, I have been improving my rankings quite consistently over the past month – Just because my rankings did not improve in the past four days, there is no reason to feel dejected.
Link Popularity is the number of links pointing to your page. It is the number of inbound links to your web page.

More links to your page means more people are talking about your page and thus increasing the popularity of your page. |
Therefore more the number of inbound links, higher your page’s popularity.
When determining your rankings, search engines don’t just look at the link popularity alone. They also look at the quality of the links – Quality of links is determined by the link popularity of the web page that is providing you the link.
I love the Titan theme on my blog – It has a very clean, professional and elegant outlook – I think so . I have used Titan theme since the first day of this blog and don’t plan it to change it anytime in the near future.

One thing I don’t like with Titan theme though is the font size and the font itself. |
The font size is way too small and I strongly suspect that the small size had a big role to play in the very low attention span of some of my visitors.
Anchor Text is the link label – It is the clickable text in hyperlink.
When you are creating links to pages on your website, make sure you are using the right anchor text – Otherwise the whole point of creating the link is a waste.

Assume you are linking to page A from page B, the anchor text should be the keyword you are trying to get the page A ranked for. |
When you are asking other webmasters for reciprocal links, make sure you send them the html for your link. For example, for my website http://www.OzKidsActivities.com, when I am asking for reciprocal links I send the following html code in the email – (enclose in <> and place < after the word 'Australia')

Google tries to personalize your search results. Google keeps track of what you are searching for on Google.com. It can however only keep track of your searches while you are logged into you Gmail account – otherwise how will it know who you are ?
So, as long as you are logged onto Gmail and simultaneously searching for something on Google then everything you search and every web page you click on will be stored against your Gmail account details.

The reason Google does this is because it would like to personalize your search as much as possible. |
If you are regularly searching on Google for ‘tunturi treadmills’ and usually clicking on the same of couple of websites (from the results), then Google assumes that you like these two websites more than the others.
This morning I am listening to David Jenyns and Lynn Terry – David interviewed Lynn in Feb – In the interview she shares a lot of great tips on getting traffic for your affiliate marketing sites.

It looks like this week I have been writing only of my problems – It has been one of those weeks for me in my business – Today I found out of one of my pages has still not been indexed by Google.
I wrote this page in February (around the 20th). It still has not been picked up by Google. I linked to this new page from a couple of existing pages on the site – Both these pages were visited by Google in early March by not my new page.

I thought when a page is visited by Google Bot, the bot also goes around to other pages that this page links to. |
